I made a switch from Steel Cut Oats to Cream of Rice to aid in my digestion and it has helped so much!! This recipe is super voluminous and is just what I need to curb my sweet tooth!
Cream of Rice
3-4oz Egg Whites
BPI Best Protein
5gChia Seeds (optional)
Pour desired amount of Cream of Rice into a bowl and cover with water. Stir with a fork and microwave for 40 seconds. Remove from the microwave, stir with a fork and add more water so the top of the cream of rice is covered and microwave again for 40 seconds. Remove from microwave, stir with a fork and if the mixture is still thick, add more water. Microwave again for 40 more seconds. I do this a total of 3 times, microwave, stir with a fork, add water and microwave again.
After you have done this 3-4 times you should have a nice thick voluminous consistency. Now you want to add 3-4oz of egg whites. Stir really good to make sure mixture is smooth. Sweeten with stevia and cinnamon. Microwave for 30 seconds. Remove, stir, microwave again for 30 seconds. Repeat this process 4 times or until desired consistency is reached.
Stir in a scoop of BPI Best Protein and 5g of Chia Seeds. Top with your favorite nut butter!
